Sumac 100% Organic European Hemp Twill Denim Fabric: great for hemp jeans, clothing, bags, shoes, draperies, upholstery, and more. 14oz per square yard weight. Sold by the yard; fabric width is ~58″-60″. This is soft and smooth organic hemp denim jeans fabric. Sumac is the fabric name, not a color. Shrinkage of about 3-5% in the length.

Our hemp twill denim fabric is made in-house from 100% organically grown European hemp. Chemical-free. Sweatshop-free. Grown and woven in-house for true purity and environmental sustainability. Please note that hemp denim isn’t as strong as organic cotton denim and isn’t meant to be used for high tension or high stretch applications.

A master swatch photo is provided for your reference (2nd photo in Image Gallery). Not every color is available in this fabric. Please note that we use hydrogen peroxide and low-impact biodegradable fiber-reactive dyes (with no mordants) so color variations may occur from batch to batch. Natural color is unbleached & undyed, so variations may occur there as well — rainy harvest seasons result in darker fabrics; sunnier harvests result in a lighter color.
