Homestead Hand-woven hemp rugs from 100% organically grown European hemp.

The Homestead Hand-woven Hemp Area Rugs are very rustic, ultra natural, charming, but not tightly woven like regularly rugs. Best to beat and air to keep fresh. Even though it is machine washable in the smaller sizes, we recommend airing and beating rather than machine washing, which will cause this hand-woven hemp rug to lint. If you must machine wash the hemp rug, wash separately from other garments and hang to dry (do not use a dryer).

Our reasonably priced handmade hemp rug is meant for those who prefer the rustic look and feel of handmade products. Each hemp rug is unique and reflects the personal style of our artisans. While they may be too rustic for some, for those who love handmade, non-homogenized products, this is the hemp rug to get.
