And the flax linen is harvested just before full maturity to retain the resilience and flexibility in the fiber strands. The harvest is then mixed with flax linen fibers from at least 39 other locations to give the resulting flax linen fiber strength, genetic diversity, and fabric integrity. Our organic flax linen place mat comes from this same stellar heritage. The difference to a flax linen connoisseur is noticeable and stunning – the handmade quality of our organic linen blanket imparts a special connection to the fiber artisans spanning centuries back.

This organic Irish linen placemat measures 12″ x 19″ and offered in Natural color (untreated, unbleached, & undyed). It is chemical-free and hypoallergenic.

Our non-toxic organic linen placemat gets its cozy volume from the method of triple washing, where we weave it to be 2-3 times the size that it will settle to. After the shrinkage, there’s a lot of volume and thickness to this special organic linen place mat.
