Long used in the east for its aromatic and moisturizing qualities, hand-ground jasmine rice is a far cry from cosmetics of today, which often contain chemical ingredients that are concocted in the lab, using unpronounceable ingredients.

Our organic jasmine rice face and body scrub is grown by hand by a husband-wife permaculturists in Thailand who tend to their small farm with strict organic methods. The rice is so finely ground as to become a wonderful exfoliating powder scrub without any chemicals whatsoever. The natural oil in our organic jasmine rice moisturizes the skin even as the old layer of skin is cleared away for a fresh clean look and feel.
The organic rice powder face and body scrub is a huge hit with our customers since we introduced it in 2004. First of all, this one-ingredient bodycare smells heavenly. Are you familiar with the scent of jasmine rice? It’s up there with lavender – relaxing, sensuous, calling. Our organic rice powder scrub works because we pulverize the whole raw organic jasmine into the perfect grit that’s fine enough not to irritate the skin, while frictive enough to slough off dead skin cells that have been dulled by pollution and the normal process of dermal discard. We leave the rice oil in so that your skin gets moisturized as you scrub away dead skin cells, which hasten the regeneration of youthful new translucent skin that glows. Scrub throughly but gently with our organic rice powder scrub – use it everywhere on your face or body that can use a little waking up!

Instructions: Wet face and shake out a portion of organic jasmine rice powder on your hands (punch holes in the lid to turn the bottle into a convenient shaker). Put a few drops of water on the powder and gently scrub your face, neck, and/or body. Rinse and follow with our organic mungbean powder to clean. You can also use the organic jasmine rice powder scrub as an ingredient in a home-made scrub by pre-mixing with natural oils, milk, or another carrier of your choice. Mix in a drop or two of organic essential oil of your choice for an aromatherapeutic scrub experience.
