Note: our organic rugs are not treated with stainguard or stain-proofing chemicals (that’s the whole point of an organic rug!), so spills such as coffee or wine may leave a mark which a carpet professional might be able to remove. Our organic cotton & hemp are rugs are not machine washable, because the yarns are not chemically stabilized with formaldehyde, unlike conventional rugs; and because hemp and cotton shrink at differential rates. Also the colors might bleed. Beat and air regularly to keep fresh, and carefully spot clean any stains with plain water or a chemical-free solution.
